The Zionist Education Center is located close to the museum at the entrance to Mt. Herzl. Here one can also find the Leaders of the Nation Cemetery, where Israel’s presidents, prime ministers, Knesset speakers and other leaders, who played a key role in Israel’s history, are buried. On the side of the mountain is the Military Cemetery, where soldiers who fell in Israel’s battles are buried and which also serves as a national monument.
The center offers a wide range of activities that can include walking tours to these sites, as well as other national sites located nearby. The visitor is invited to experience a true connection with the historic milestones of the Zionist Movement and to forge a bond with Israel’s past. |
